Our Story
Locally built, family-run, and trusted by travellers— WCCM keeps your caravan adventure-ready.
Founded in 2008, WC Caravan Movers is a proudly family-run business built on passion, innovation, and a commitment to making caravanning easier for everyone.
The story began when our founder, Pine Joubert, upgraded his caravan from a Palma to an Exclusive. After his first trip with the larger caravan (and an injured back from trying to manoeuvre it into a tight campsite) Pine realised there had to be a better way. His search led him to the PowrTouch caravan mover system, but at the time, no installers were available in the Cape Town area.
Seeing the need, Pine decided to take action. He became Cape Town’s first dedicated PowrTouch installer, and WC Caravan Movers was born.
Over the years, our services have expanded beyond PowrTouch installations. WC Caravan Movers now also proudly installs the locally manufactured Ewiks caravan mover system, along with a range of high-quality aftermarket caravan accessories and product upgrades.
From traditional caravans to modern off-road models, we continue to innovate and adapt to the needs of South African travellers. In 2023 we changed our name to Western Cape Caravan Fitment Centre and also incorporated traditional caravan services and repairs into our list of services.
Despite our growth, one thing has never changed: Pine’s belief in professional workmanship, honest service, and customer satisfaction. Every installation is handled with care, precision, and pride – values that have shaped our reputation for more than a decade.
At Western Cape Caravan Fitment Centre, we treat your caravan as if it were our own.

What an amazing experience at Western Cape Caravan Movers! We had Ewicks installed on our Bushlapa and the service was exceptional! We were pushed for time and they slotted us in next day and we got the van back the same day! Thanks Riko, Morne and Ilse! Very happy campers now! Jayson & Vicky
